Because I'm using AAC+ Stereo V2 can only use Winamp 5.05 or above
effectively, other players don't support it at this stage.

What automation system have they got there.... gaps all over the place
during the ad break I just heard...

I'm guessing that Barb is coming out of the Sydney studio?

Yes, Barb is coming out of Sydney. 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday is
local, all other is from 2SM's FM Service.

Sounding surprisingly good! Had a bit of a listen this afternoon.

I haven't had a chance to listen to the local programming, but
definately the quality of the audio for a streaming connection is good.

Who's the image voice for the station? Sounding pretty spot on,
especially for a Caralis station.

Keep up the good work, but update the bloody webpage!

Sounds pretty good on the quality side of things here.

Winamp 5 plays it perfectly, says its 32 Kbps, 44 kHz Stereo

This would have to be a first for a Caralis station broadcasting online,
wouldnt it?

And Shaun, I thought you were at Sea FM/2GO in Gosford, when was the move to
Parkes?

Hi all

Yes, Shaun, I had to download the newer version 5.1 since version 2.7
didn't give any sound. Initially even 5.1 would only play about 10
seconds then cut out. Realized that MP3splice (as a Winamp plugin) was
causing this, so I uninstalled it under preferences and it then worked
non-stop.

Wombat Lover, think you are right, don't know of any other Caralis
station streaming. Kool FM Innisfail used stream (and it took the
Caralis FM service at night) but that was a couple of years ago.

Sounds great... just got to check my download limit...

Cheers

If so, will it be taken from the desk?

To listen to Nick Erby's show in FM quality (I doubt Stereo would be
available over the feed?) would be perfect and another country music
alternative on a Saturday night (to challenge ABC's Saturday Night Coutry)
